In discussing a checklist that I put together for E cards with Marty Krim (see 1987 photo below), I had some of the E28-E33 Philadelphia Caramel / Philadelphia Confections sets listed with Caramel or Confections incorrectly. After checking it all, E28 and E33 are listed as Philadelphia Caramel and E29-E32 are listed as Philadelphia Confections. E28-E32 list 'Zoo Caramels' on the back as a product while the E33 dogs don't list anything. Recently, I got a magazine advertisement that discusses Zoo Caramels and identifies 3 sets of 50 cards (animals, birds & fishes) that have been issued and ties BOTH Philadelphia Caramel and Philadelphia Confections together. Apparently Blue Label Philadelphia Confections was a 'brand' or logo for Philadelphia Caramel Co. See the ad below......

The ad not only notes the 3 sets of 50 cards, but also says that one fine picture 8-1/2 x 10 is included in every box of Zoo Caramels. See the 'fine picture' below:

Does anyone else have any of the 'fine pictures'? Has anyone ever seen any others? I would assume that there were pictures from the other 3 sets.....animals, fish, etc in the 'fine picture' 8-1/2 x 10 size. Would love to see photos of any more or any other advertising for any Candy/Gum/Caramels that anyone else might have.

Most importantly, here is the 1987 photo of Marty Krim......available on ebay for $29.88 from one of those newspaper archive places.....Marty will be at the National signing autographs should you choose to purchase this photo.........
