These were new to me. Has anyone ever heard of the Red Wing Milling Co. in Red Wing, Minnesota?

Todd,
I do not have any information about the Red Wing Milling Co., but some of the cards that I sent to Dan and are posted as D48 Invisible Color Pictures were issued by them. Some are the same as the ones that you posted.
You can view them on the D48 web page. You can also check my posting from Feb. 17, 2012 for a little more information.

Ken

Very cool stuff so far this month in all sorts of catagories. Ken that F212 is pretty neat, that is the first I have seen other than in a catalog.

Just picked up these R714-7 Flags and Soldiers and looked for them in the Gallery as usual. No luck. With the silk flag backs and nice soldier art, I think they're kinda cool. What's up Dan?

Jack ,there was a call to arms for contributions from N54 members for this set quite a while back and there was very little response but some members scanned and shared .

The start .

The full link is here:http://www1.coe.neu.edu/~dan/R714-7/go.html

The numbering on the set does not always match up with the guides and the gallery is slightly out of order alphabetically so it's hard to be 100% certain but I think the following scans are still needed:

Admiral-Italy
Albania
Confederate States 1865
Germany
Greece *
India
Netherlands
Pre-Revolutionary Jack
Spain
Switzerland
Trans Jordan
Uruguay *

* Added as per post below.

I am guilty of not providing scans to Dan-will try to rectify later. I may have a couple of singles to trade, I need about 20-25 to complete the set.

Thanks Dan and Dave. Looks like I got two cards not in Dave's page. India is on the list, but Greece is not. Maybe Greece is the 100th card. I can provide better scans if needed. Thanks for the response. -Jack J.

Here are mine so far this month.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Anyone have information on the Goo-Goo Eyes candy boxes from which the panels in the middle were cut?

Photobucket
The Chicago World's Fair card in the lot above is from the less common Blatz issue. I was following the set in the most recent Legendary auction, but this one fills the hole in my type collection.

Photobucket

Photobucket
This is the top section of an uncut strip of wrappers that comprise the set. I found my first Super Duper Shelby's wrapper some years ago beneath the floor boards of my parents' attic. It didn't look anywhere near this good!

Photobucket
I paid for this one today; hoping to get it next week.

Jason, I was watching those goo goo eye candy box cards as well. I beleive, but I could be wrong that they are from Schapira Bros. candy and toy boxes. The patented July 4'th 1911 date is the same as on a different set box I have and others I have seen. My box from the Big Show series has moving eyes when the flap is lifted and then closed. Cool cards.
