nice scores mostly from junk boxes. filled quite a few holes in the T collections. Completed the T77 lighthouse series master set, finished the T56 Emblem back run, couple of tough backs in the T59 flags. Netted a few more Sovereign backs in the T58 fish series (need 9 more for the run), got a stack of nice condition fish cheap with some tough F25 backs, scored two nice T227z for my master set quest, filled a few more holes in the T53 master set run.... all in all a great time and nuthing but FUN!

I picked a few of these French cards out from a large group, do any of these series have significant value?
Check out the card of them beating the seals

[linked image]

Mixed group including Red Indian Coupon that looks like the one on the back of some Newsboy Cabinets. Can anyone ID the metal cowboy, it says Circus - Collect a set?

[linked image]

For a long time I have been keeping a look out for a T108 card with a Lyceum Little Cigars back.
When I saw one on EBay I bought it. It's the second one I own BUT they are the same card/Theater.
How difficult are these backs? Anyone chasing a master set?

Some Allen and Ginter Sunny South trade cards, the four at the bottom I love...How many are in this series of Sunny South Cigarettes "Sports of different towns"

An unexpected pick up of four R14s; these bring me up to fourteen of the thirty. Slow progress is still progress. Sorry about the glare.

This League of Nations is about the same condition as the rest of my set in progress so happy to add it.

Just bought this U.S. Bank Note card from one of our advertisers, Phil from Open Binders. When I got it, I liked it so well that I bought the other seven countries he had up for auction.

Does anyone know anything about these blank backed cards? It is 2.75 by 3.5 inches. Thanks - Jack J.

jack, The card that you show is one to an eight card set. With no ads on it, it's a album card. Either way it's desireable.

From the Nonsport Update auction.................

Thought I would get outbid on these but surprisingly didn't...........they are slightly smaller than a 'normal' 4x6 cabinet. Maybe 3x5.5 or a little larger............

This looks like some handmade item maybe? The writing on the face of the picture has been added afterwards. Any ideas?

This month is picking up steam for everyone but especially you Tom. Lots of good stuff there. Can't believe how cheaply you picked up some of those cards at the National. All appear to be in great shape.

For my latest pickup I offer the following wrapper. I'd love to have a wrapper for every set but generally I'd rather spend the money on cards. this one however I really like and was glad to pickup. I love the image of Mr. peanut riding the elephant.

Nice pick-up on the wrapper Daniel. It's one of my many favorites. I like the cards from the set as they are a bit politically incorrect ... "Hunted Animals". I especially like the large Canadian version of these cards. They are nearly four times the size of the U.S. cards. I wonder if there is a Canadian wrapper? - Jack J.

An odd lot tonight with a common theme - Howdy Doody cards. I got the blotter last week made up of a three card panel. I'm tempted to peel off the blue blotter paper on the back to see if there is any printing on the back of the cards, but I don't think I will. The two vinyl wallets with single card included arrived today. I can peel back the inner vinyl lining and see that the three card panels are blank backed. They seem to be of the same stock as the cards but the red diagonal stripes are a weird printing addition. Curiously, the single card matches the Burry's Cookies and the Howdy Doody Frozen Treats Magic Trading Cards except it has no sponsor name. I would have suspected that it was matched with the wallets at a later date except for this anomaly which makes me believe it came with the wallet. I like the wallets because they reek of the 50s.

Jack,
I think the wallets are very cool, not so sure about me.
We have three different wallets, I wonder if there were 14
different so as to include all 42 of the different cards?

Curious will PSA grade them? Tom, those Kodak cards are really nice. Anyone know the value
on those nice "Sunny South Cards"?

The top three Star Wars cards are from a Kellogg's set called Stick R Cards. The cards came with a sticker on top of the card; the sticker is white and the card is blue. I have a complete set of the unpeeled set but have struggled for years to get even one example of the peeled cards; happy to have these three.

Any time I can add a Novel Package card I'm very happy. This is my second one of the year; Dick Tracy is not my favorite set but still, these are all tough. Continue to make progress on X-ray Round Up, one addition to Fight the Red Menace, seven IG's; all but one are pretty clean, a Dixie Circus high number and (believe it or not) an upgrade for my Action Gum set.
