Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know anything about this box?!? Is it common or uncommon?!? I can't find any pictures in any reference books or on the web. Thanks in anticipation of your help. Best garno.

I believe it is a test issue. I would guess it is rare due to limited production and distribution.

Not a test, just harder to find than cards as they were stickers and they probably only did one printing. One of my favorite sets-the artwork on the stickers is ridiculously good and sometimes quite intricate.

That box I would think is a pretty tough one. Reissued as Mod Initials 2 or 3 years later. Is there a product number on the bottom?

Hey guys,

Thanks for your help with this one. I've got a few more uncommon/obscure/unregistered Topps issues I'll need your help on too soon please. Product is 1-489-37-01-9 Topps chewing gum, INC., Duryea, PA 18642. Made and printed in U.S.A. I came about this anomaly with a bunch of other weird stuff from the A&BC factory during the late 60's. My guess it was sent over from Topps for some reason that I am not really sure of.....Any ideas? best garno

Topps-A&BC Connection makes sense, especially late 60's. Topps may have quality checked A&BC materials before release; I'm not 100% sure about that but they essentially owned a chunk of A&BC then, before they took it over in a power play a few years later.
