Eat your hearts out, you bastards!

I'm not one to brag, but I thought I might casually mention that I just received the first place on the PSA registry for HORRORS OF WAR!

It took me a long time and a lot of effort (and money!) to do it, but the journey was very worthwhile. I can now die and go to heaven without any regrets...

Since this was for my digital cards, I won't bother posting images, because they were all perfect mint 10s and we all know what that they look like.

I'm now working on my Superman and Lone Ranger sets. If you're currently #1 in either of those categories, watch out! My digital card collection is gonna kick your out-dated paper version's ASS!

And speaking of which, has there been much discussion here about digital cards? When are you old-timers going to wake up and dump your old paper cards while they are still worth anything? (The longer you wait, the less you'll make! It's like musical chairs. Seating and availability are going fast!) I might be able to help a few of you out, but I would expect some deep discounts, considering the obvious fate of antiquated technology like cardboard.

Congrats, Kurt on a great accomplishment!

I just felt it necessary to add that as you commanded, I did eat my heart out, and it tasted like chicken.

Best in collecting, Bill Bengen

I knew the York Dinosaur series came in those shapes, but not Horrors of War. (Now I have yet ANOTHER series to collect!) Fortunately, I have digital sleeves that are custom made to fit odd-snapped digi-cards.

So how many other digital card collectors are there here? Am I the only one far-seeing enough to catch this gravy train before it has left the station? If you don't collect digital cards, why? (It's not like they cost more or take up more room!)

Lost in the fun was Mark's group of 4 real PSA 10's. Very Impressive!

Variations and Digital Cards in general

Todd, I didn't collect variations because of the prohibitive cost, but with Virtual cards, I can collect virtually EVERYTHING!

But seriously, am I the only one here to thinks virtual cards are the biggest scam since the Emperor's New Clothes? (If eCards are the future of eBay, they can take their BIN and shove it.)

And can someone please tell me if they are sold with virtual gum?
