I've always liked Topps U.N.C.L.E. cards, then I saw these "Scanlens" and thought they were cool. I looked them up in my trusty "Sport Americana" Number 4 to find out U.N.C.L.E. cards were printed in Australia, Great Britain, and New Zealand, under license by "Allens & Regina" a 72 card set which includes 14 die-cut stand-up cards.
It's pretty obvious the previous owner really enjoyed them, now it's my turn!

The Kookie Plaks wrapper adds to my Jack Davis mini-collection. Also two other later Topps wrappers and a bread card. The "Boy O' Mine" sheet music is a nice "Goes with" item for my Canadian DC2 McCormick Mfg. Co. "Boy of Mine" cards. - Jack J.

Nice Helmar Box Henry! super cool with the premiums listed on the outside!

I made some nice headway on my T79 Military Tolstoi backs, tough to find and bonus, super nice condition!

I have a few dupes if anyone wants to swap.

Keep the cool stuff coming fellas!

June is picking up!

These came in the mail (if you get "air" planes in the mail is it considered "air" mail?)...

Todd - Congrats on the Air Service Insignia wrapper. Love the wing badge that came with it. Now that we know what they look like, maybe more will show up. - Jack J.

An interesting F272-19 General Mills Lone Ranger Mystery cereal box back. I would guess that the accompanying unused "Invisible Writing Clues" paper card is considerably more rare than the box back. Judging from the glue on the back of the box, it looks like the card was originally affixed to the inside of the box, maybe in a protective envelope. - Jack J.

Terrific item, Jack. I guess the height of the writing on the post outed the diminutive thief!

Good guess Frank. I'll go dip the answer card in some water and let you know if you're right. - Jack J.

I think it is so fun seeing what everyone collects!

Recent pickups....

"Yo Joe!"..oh wait, I guess that is a different Joe...
[linked image]

This turned out to be almost a master set..
[linked image]
(series 1 album - top, series 1&2 album bottom)

Series 1 set of 10 sheets...
[linked image]

These have the "Kroger Bakery" name printed on the backs...
[linked image]

Series 1&2 were issued in envelopes. You got one sheet from series 1 + a sheet from series 2.
(The backs of the sheet no longer mention "Kroger", which is now only on the envelopes)

[linked image]

[linked image]

It was a "near" master set as it was missing the 10th envelope (but at least had the sheets!)...
[linked image]

This is a different bakery than the previous one I picked up...
[linked image]

I have always loved the detailed artwork on the Revell model kit cards...

Gotta say, the names of some of these R184-1 Indian Chiefs must have some amazing stories behind them. Looks like I may be able to give the dukeofdow a challenge in the PSA registry competition if I decide to grade these.

didn't pay too much for those Indians, I have a bunch I'll give to you. I thought you
were getting some N2's, when you said popular Indian set.

Paid $50 for the group. Happy with that. I might be missing a couple for the full set since I see a duplicate or two.

Weird that a swordfish killed a man just two years ago. And then you have the ray that killed Steve Irwin.
