My name is Keith and it's great to meet you! I'm way down here in your old stomping ground's of Warm Springs, GA and it's great! The place is still the same with the exception of many new buildings and a new "Positive" outlook for those of us that experienced Polio. If I had to try and explain what it was like here, I'd definitely have to say it's got a country club atmosphere, golf course included. It also has the most incredible recreational center that I've ever been in, it even has a bowling alley & an Olympic sized swimming pool. it's unreal and since you were a patient here, you have a lifetime free membership to all of the facilities. You and your family can even stay here for 15.00 a night. Being tucked away like it is can be good therapy in it's self. It's good for the Body, Mind ,and Soul, believe me.. It still has that old look and you can feel the history that began here some 80 years ago, it's awesome. I'm also getting a good education on the late affects of my bout with Polio and it is making my life much more pleasant and meaningful. So how are you fairing with the PPS these day's?
