I grew up in Florida myself, small world..I went through the 3rd grade in Miami, 4th through 10th in Ocala, and my Junior year in Gainesville(lived in Newberry) and got my GED after a bout with a harmonica & other things(daily) in the G-ville H.S parking lot in my Senior year. I went on to college and became a medical biller, long before it was popular and started and sold a Medical Billing business(MediCode), got 20 certification's with FEMA, ended up starting a Bait & Tackle business(Bay Breeze Bait & Tackle) in Gulf Breeze,Fl while working for the City in the Parks & Rec Dept. for almost all of my adult life and now I'm a professional volunteer/advocate for "anything" to do with "anyone" who has a disability. Isn't life grand! Deep down I guess that God was feeling amused when He set me up for such an even more amusing life...lol, I'm also an Ordained Minister with the Unity Prayer Movement, I wouldn't change a thing. If it's one thing that God has taught me it's that; If you want to see Him get a good laugh, Just voice your plans for your own future...lol. Did I say that I'm very liberal, open and honest? Life's what you make out of it and these days I'm all about helping as many people as possible before I get to go home "forever". This is where the Polio comes in. If I hadn't of had Polio, which has made me very, very "humble" in my older years, I don't even want to think about how my life would have turned out. It's become my direct line of communication to Him and He has to be smiling..lol..I am.
Anyway, it's a nice area where you live and I went through there many times when I was in the boyscout's. It wasn't quite as congested back then and the fishing and camping was great! Still want me to be the moderator for this site? You'll never find a better friend than me and that goes for anyone who needs help.
