Hello to all. My name is Sharon and I am a 1954 Bulbar Polio survivor. An iron lung was my 'home' for almost a year in a California county hospital. In 1980 due to muscle atrophy of the trachea I was re-introduced to a tracheostomy and still have it.

22 years ago I went to the Post Polio Clinic in Milwaukee, WI for evaluation. I have experienced steadily worsening muscle weakness, fatigue, swallowing problems, etc. symptoms since, especially in the last several years.

I appreciate the article on Vitamin C and will look into it. I am interested in learning what whole foods or supplements have been found to be helpful to survivors.

I am also interested in being an encouragement if I can.

      Blessings,
      Sharon
