Here you got two ICM plastic figures after a little of plastic surgery.
Both were mechanics. The one with the coverall from the USAAF set. The other, from one of the two Luftwaffe sets available.
They became US Navy airedales after replacing the heads, adding the flight deck caps with Tamiya epoxy putty and replacing the right hand of the red one with another wearing a glove. The goggles helped to give them a post 2WW look.
These 1/48th ICM aircraft modeler oriented sets seems to be quite useful due the generic poses and gargement of many of the figures included. Just replace the head, or replace a cap with a proper helmet, and you can easily use them in many other, more armour oriented, scenarios instead.
BTW, great sculpting and quite nice reproduction in plastic. Highly recommended!
These figgies were painted using acrylics and I hope to share the complete scene here soon.
I hope you like them!
