Tamiya GB ---> Jagdpanther extravaganza (V): Some weathering.

After painting the camo and making the main chipping with the hairspray technique, I made some more fine chips and scratches with a 0.5 dark brown marker:

Next I splashed a light sand color trying to make very small spatters. This is a nice way to add complexity to the surface:

I airbrushed Tamiya Buff just above the line of the fenders. This imitates the dust accumulation when the fenders were in place:

Then I darkened the zone under the fenders with a dark brown wash. I also made some scratches with light gray and ochre pencils:

With a mix of acrylic Burnt umber and black I drybrushed the dark borders of the modulation to enhance the weathered look:

The next step is to profile the lines and raised elements with a wash of diluted black oil paint:

I also used the black oil to shadow some zones, especially on the lower border of the raised elements:

Next I´ll apply some mud on wheels and tracks and continue the weathering. Cheers.
