Hi All;

As usual, I am so happy to see all the great work going on for the group build; Konrad the Mad Scientist, to Ralph the creative maniac with his mottled sub-base color, to Jose creating a whole new style of painting, I am floored by what I have been seeing in the last few weeks, hats off to all of you guys. Great stuff! I am already thinking this GB is the most successful we've done here to date.

Anyhow, I thought I'd keep the ball rolling with a small update on my Tamiya Hetzer. I have applied the base camo scheme using the silly putty method, and I have done the basic oil paint shading/streaking/chipping. There is still a lot to do, and I know the effects are a bit garish now, but further weathering steps will tone it down a bit more.

On to a couple of pics, this is where it started:

Where it sits now, again with much more still to do:

All comments are welcomed, as usual, and thanks in advance for looking. My thanks again go to my Mate Sven Frisch for helping me with this build. His help is greatly appreciated.

Keep the great builds coming Lads, I am drawing endless inspiration from what I am seeing.

Cheers, Pat
