Hi lads, got some time today to finally get around to applying a winter white coat. I used the AK Interactive Worn Effects for the degraded paint look. I am not really sure IF i am using that product right. I sprayed it straight from the bottle and it seemed to "gather" and "bead" before drying on the model. Better luck next time with some thinner me thinks. Anyways.. some pix of progress so far. I am going to go back and add some filters and stuff once it settles and dries

Pix and process. I will be applying some snow to the vehicle once the product arrives, hence the kit is still in halves which will make it easier to apply the snow on the tracks etc.

I started painting the hull last week and this is how it turned out with the Worn Effect fluid applied and degraded.

Today.. got the time and guzumption to apply the Worn Effects fluid and some Tamiya XF-2 White that had been slightly dirtied with a drop of XF-55 Deck Tan. Masking tape was used to cover off the lower hull and some blu tac held in place the radiator cover and rear engine deck plate.

Present condition of the model after a session of wearing and tearing.

Lots of painty , weathery and filtery wink.gif stuff still to do and its a learning process in progress as this is my first ever winter scheme. Just got to stick at it happy.gif

Any suggestions as always gratefully listened to with an open mind happy.gif

Best

Paul
