Light bulb moment...

Response to Paint

JL: light builbs are switching on in my head. Thanks for the electricity! I have been trying to a add a small amount of X-22 Clear to the mixes, and to thin with Tamiya's lacquer thinners. Although it improves the transluscency, and gives a nice sheen, I find the paint dries quickly on the needle tip and makes tight close-in control difficult. I recently tried to use Tamiya's HG Superfine airbrush but could but improve on the results I get from my old Aztek A470 fitted with the fine tip. Cheers, Ralph.
