Question about Marder equipment

I have a question about the "stowage thingy" visible on the right side of the back of the Marder here:

[linked image]

- Is it a standard piece of equipment used on all Marders in Africa?
- Is it a field-depot mod or was it pretty standardized?
- Does somebody have a Hauler set and didn't use this particular part? If so, I'd be interested in buying/trading.

Thanks.
