Well...
I had allotted plenty of time for paint. If everything went to plan. So as not to bore you with details, let me quote the wisdom of Sun Tzu " no battle plan survives contact with the enemy" ... Next time, maybe.
This is the very early stage of my paint process. Filters have been applied, but there effect is hidden to some degree by the shine. That shine is due to the future I put down for the decals. I have found that everything needs to be treated equally no matter if it gets decals or not to maintain an overall uniform finish. I think it also helps with washes.
I was rushing to beat the deadline. A few minor mishaps cropped up, as they always do when I rush things. So I have decided to take the time needed to get the finish I have in mind. Overall I am very pleased with what I have at the moment. Now I need to avoid the eleventh hour disaster.
