Just a short update as I finally have gotten around to painting the gear install the various items on the Kübelwagen.

Still left is to add a little dust and sanding the bottom of the tires to simulate the weight of the vehicle.
Oh, and the steering wheel will have to be found and installed as well. happy.gif

Any and all comments are welcome.

Cheers,
Anders

Almost there....

Anders,

See? I am sure you will make it on time at this rate becasue very little to finish I think. The stowage gear looks very good and add colur to the model. I like how it looks with all that load indeed.

Just one question --> Are you sure seats were brown?

Well done amigo.

Seats

October 20 2010, 5:26 AM

Thanks Lu! happy.gif

Well, I went with a guesstimate regarding the seat color. Tamiya recommends XF-49 Khaki but to be honest I have no idea which color they really should be.

Any recommandation on color?
It's still not too late to adjust the seats, so any input is welcome! happy.gif

Cheers,
Anders

G'day Anders
Your little bucket is looking just wonderful, I wait impatiently to see
this little gem finished! Do you plan a little base to suit?
Regards.
Alan.

Glad you like it so far, thanks Alan! happy.gif

As for a base I have plans on using a pair of Gaso.line DAK soldiers who are checking out an abandoned RAF Hurricane Mk I. But I'll need more time... wink.gif

Anders
