I finished this, and used John Steinman's bug as my inspiration. Once again forgive my camera, it is not the greatest. This Tamiya kit was a blast to build, and went together very quickly. The three different layers of paint was fun to apply, especially with the weathering. Hope everyone likes it.

Congratulations for being the second brave gent passing the War Wheels GB finish line. No doubt you enjoy making the bug by seing that fast output. As for the model as John says I appreciate your effort in making new things. I believe the model would benefit of a selective dark pin wash in some areas like engine vents, and joints of the doors and bonet for instance.

I personally think it is very pleasing to see a model directly inspired by another modellers work. That is a very highest tribute one can make to the work of another modeller in my opinion. John has to be happy for that I guess.

They go together so quickly that I might be able to finish a second model for the group build. Maybe a Citroen?
