Has anyone here ever seen the build up of this kit that was done awhile back, with the corrections? I was looking around the web and found mention of it but cannot seem to locate a picture or any other info? If I remember correctly it was on FSM website, but I have had no luck.....

The old Aurora kit? or has someone...

done a newer mold?

The old Aurora kit is kind of hard to come by these days and I doubt there are many who would build it if they had it. I built a couple in the day - working suspension and the hatches opened when the barrel was depressed.

But having seen the real deal at Aberdeen a few years ago, upgrading the aurora kit would have been a yeoman's job.

I found the build article....

in a round about way. The guy's name is Brian Keaney and I think he lives in Japan. He has done a great job. Check it out here:

I am currently doing one myself. I really like how he did up the suspension details and would be happy if mine turn out half as nice. As for the turret, well I'm junking the kit one as it's way off in too many ways......
