amazing model, I see some stuff I would like to do on my Stag.

How did you do the mud splashes - with airbrush and pigments + enamels or?

Thank you Roman!!

Mud Splashes = acrylic chocolate + black Vallejo paints (slightly thinned) projected from a damped brush, you know, the old style!

WOW

May 5 2012, 3:41 PM

Amazing work, again! The canvas looks realy great at the end! All the details are very good, but my favourite is the weathering. How did you do this dark mud and faded effect on the sides?

Regards
Archy

Thank you Archy!

This vehicle will be included in a vignette, but not in a close future.

See my reply to Roman for the mud splashes. The fadded effect, using just oil colors, sienna, black, natural umber...

And yessss ... :^), the canvas are finished finally! I do not like to paint them completely in one step. As my weathering works goes on, I finish the accesories to match wirh the weathered finished look.

Thanks!

Your finish on this kit is just stunning - I love the dramatic contrasts you have created within the frame of realism on this model.

Superb!

Apart from a brilliant paint job and great weathering, the thing that does it for me is the tarps. They look real! As does the stowage.
Great job.

John.

The tarps is a mix on Tamiya´s airbrushed base color + Tamiya´s enamels for highlights + oils color for shadows and weathering

Thank you!
