Tamiya GB---> Marder III w/ russian PaK 36 **Painting and weathering started**

G´day guys

last week I was quite busy painting the Marder.
I´ve used Tamiya colors to do some slight modulation. Only to make things more interesting.

Everything was primed using Tamiya Surface Primer straight from the can

The tracks were painted with XF-52 Flat Earth

The German Grey was highlighted with Flat White XF-2 plus a few drops of XF-8 Flat Blue. Afterwards a few
light coats of X-22 Clear were used to seal the model in a satin finish.

Here is the result after the chipping process.

Here I apply a wash using AK Interactive products.

White Spirit was used to clean all the excess wash.

Here I want to show the so important washing process. The only part treated is the upper hull.
The lower hull and the gun plus it´s shield hasn´t been treated yet.

I love this part of modelling!!

Cheers

Gunnar
