This JP is going slowly but it has been a lot of football on TV these days, you know.

It is time for painting the camo. I decided to use the hairspray technique again to chip the camouflage paint. After painting the hull colour with Red brown and a little of black I applied the hairspray layer:

Before painting the camo I sprayed a layer of Lifecolor paint to ease the chipping. The green color is Hobbycolor RLM82 Light green, mixed with a lilttle of black and white for the modulation. The raised elements were then enhanced with brush:

Next I wet the paint with water and used old brushes and a toothpick to chip the paint:

Finally I painted the camo stripes with Red brown and Dark yellow. The chipping is done the same way. I also used a puncher to make some sharp scratches:

The contrast is too high so far but the weathering will do the job, I hope.

You should make much much more afvs in the future. That's top drawer stuff. Very inspiring and the perfect application of the Modulation Style. Not too many are able to do it in such a good manner.
Thanks for sharing
Sven

Looking excellent Diego

Everything looks great - you are a master of distressed paint! My only comment would go to the upcoming weathering steps - when you are thinking about corrosion effects, the hardened armor plate and cast parts of the hull should be treated differently than the mild steel parts like fenders - hardened steel does not rust as easily and the rust tones on hard steel are much darker (blacker) than the soft stuff. Burning armor steel softens it, so it rusts more like the mild stuff, so the damaged parts will look different.

Can't wait to see whats next,

HTH

Konrad
