Tamiya Elefant to Ferdinand conversion

Just finished up parts to convert the upcoming Tamiya Elefant into a Ferdinand. Approximately 19 piece kit will be available through Tank Workshop. I had a lot of research help with this and to all those involved a great big thank you!

Kit instructions also list a zimmerit kit sold seperatly for the Elefant version.....

who want a Kursk Ferdinand rather than the kit's Elefant. Very well thought out and comprehensive. Now for an initial production Bergepanther.....happy.gif

The Kursk era Ferdinand tracks were rather different from the later "Elefant" tracks.

I think I got it handled. Here is a picture of what I did, the 166 correct holes were drilled yesterday and the conversion kit was mailed out to Tank Workshop today

The bottom run is as per the kit since the bottom won't be visible, so you can kind of see the difference.......
