HobbyBoss T-35/76 decals .. pics added.

Has anyone any ideas where to find photos or colour plates of the option decals supplied in the HobbyBoss T-34/76 kit? The kit painting and marking instructions only show one option with the red slogans, I'd like to try one of the other options but I'd really like to have a reference pic.
Yes I've Googled this a bit and got very little.
Thanks in advance
Tim

Edit:
Thought I'd add some pics.
Here's the decals in question

Considering your question is basically a reference question, you might get more response by just posting in the Allied section. :-/

Photo of decal option 9 & 10

June 17 2017, 3:24 AM

Hi Tim , had a look through some of the photos I have saved while trawling the web for interesting photos of the T-34 and I believe I have one for you and the decals. Decal options #9 & #10 seem to match this T-34 in worn winter white wash.

[linked image]

The decal options #2 & #3 are as far as I can make out for a STZ built T-34 with all steel wheels and plate turret which is not the build you have. This vehicle was in two tone green and brown.

The decal option #7 with turret number is of a vehicle that was photographed knocked out in a crater/pool. There are a couple of photos of this and some built models on the web. It was overall 4BO colour ( green ).

The other options I have not found yet.

Nice build and impressed with the interior work/paint happy.gif

Best regards

Paul

Excellent ...

June 18 2017, 1:57 AM

Thanks Paul that really helps, particularly option #7, this could be my option built prior to being knocked out.
Thank you for the comments, the interior took quite a while and references are varied but I think it looks close to the truth.
This Hobby Boss kit has it's issues but with a full interior included I think it's a worth while kit to build.
Your help is much appreciated.

A couple of updated pics.

It's obviously not finished yet, still needs the markings and heaps more weathering to go but it'll have to wait a while now, I'm heading to the UK for TankFest and then onto a couple of other Panzer museums after that.
So it'll be few weeks until I get back to it.
Cheers Tim

And another ref pix found :)

June 18 2017, 6:10 AM

Hi Tim , not trying to divert you off your chosen course. Just to fill out the options for the decals contained in the HB kit. Here is a pix with what I believe are the decals # 4,5,6 & 11 and it would seem its for a Hexagonal turret!!!!!!

[linked image]

On a friendly constructive observational note if you are open to it and its not too late there is a slight seam visible on the rear of the turret in one of the photos you posted .. where the two half turrets parts join. You could remedy that with either some TLC or just cover it up with some type of tarp. The model looks the part and you have put a lot of work into it. Looking forward to seeing the finished article in due course happy.gif

Best regards

Paul

Thanks again Paul

That's interesting about that last pic, that its an octagonal turret, I'm now thinking that's a generic decal sheet, not just options for the 1942 model but maybe even for their T-34/85 kit as well?
The seam on the back of the turret shows up quite well in the pictures .... Duh! Didn't look that bad in reality. Might try a fix but maybe easier to go with your suggestion, thanks mate.
Cheers Tim
