Coping with pressure is great, and the more high-pressure situations you can get into, the better and faster one copes. But there is more to improving performance than that -- specifically, learning what technique works and why it works in that particular way. After Ben Hogan fixed his bad hook by spending a few years on the range "digging it out of the earth," he was asked what a golfer would need to do to get to his level. His reply: "Learn HOW to do it."
