The Best Ping Putter?

I'm looking to buy a gift for a friend of mine and I want to get him a Ping putter. There are so many styles I really don't know where to begin. If anyone can give me advice as to what putters they like I would appreciate it. Cost is really not a factor.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Ping Models

I don't really know all that much about the many models of Ping putters, but from the designs I've seen, the Ally Stainless Steel and the Pal2 Isopure putters look pretty good.

You can get more info from my Reviews page on the Pings, http://puttingzone.com/reviews.html.

Cheers!

To Ping or Not to Ping

Well of course, Ping!

I tried a couple of putters before I decided to steal my husbands old ping Rite-in.

I found the longer Zing, or anser styles were too toe heavy for me, and I found that I tended to drag the toe during my stroke.

My suggestion to you, would be talk to your local ping retailer, purchase a gift certificate, or make arrangements to be billed, and send your friend down for a custom fitting. That way you will know your friend will choose the putter by its feel and fit... and you'll see it in his/her bag more often.

Wish I had a friend like you!
