Rib Cage Crunch

Geoff,
Thanks for your tips under the title "Rib Cage Crunch." I have been trying to incorporate the pendulum stroke into my game for a couple years and have had only partial success. The reason is that I have never been able to understand how to change my swing, which was mostly forearms and shoulders and consequently, I could not activate my shoulders correctly. The simple technique of pushing the left shoulder down to the balls of my feet has awakened me to an "ah ha," and a feeling that I have found what I have been looking for. What I have also noticed is other tips such as putter length (short), Salute the Dawn, and letting the club fall to the ball from the top of the backswing rather than accelerating through the ball, came together at that same time.

Thanks,
Greg.

Thanks, Greg, for letting me know how it's going! If you like the Rib Cage Crunch tip, keep your eye out for something I'm thinking about titling "Straight or Curled -- What's the Best Stroke Path?" I'll probably have that done in a week or so.

Cheers!
