high MOI putters?

geoff have you had any experience with some of the high MOI putters (mcgregor vfoil, maltby, ping doc, etc.)? is there really a significant performance difference compared to more conventional designs?

Dear Tom,

Yes, there is some real difference from high-MOI putter designs over conventional putters -- especially heel-shafted conventional putters and Ping- or Scotty Cameron-style 45-degree hangers. Here's an earlier Flatstick Forum post tha goes into considerable detail about the physics.
