I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of any useful references for information on motor skills learning, not necessarily related directly to putting/golf, either on the net or in print. Thanks very much, as always.

Dear James,

Here is a pretty good site on Motor Learning.

This is a fairly comprehensive slide show (PowerPoint Presentation) with 43 slides on the concepts.

This Study shows the relative efficacy of random pracrtice as superior to a block of practice, one of the key components to motor learning theory.

This Article gives a good look at Motor Learning in the context of rugby.

There are two main texts, that of Richard Schmidt and that of Richard Magill.
