Gravity is constant

If gravity is constant than why not use a visual aid that is gravity driven?
If you count "one thousand one" or "one potato two" that would be great if you could keep it constant. But pendulum always is constant and it is something that is visual. Why not when practicing use both to train yourself.

Already Available

Dear Clyde,

Such "visual" aids to observing pendular timing are already available. Jane Crafter many years ago looped a piece of string around her finger, at the bottom of which was a fishing weight, and then took up her grip on the putter and made strokes so the weight would swing in time with the golfer's stroke movement. Harold Swash's "whippy tempomaster" is essentially the same thing. Both of these are superior to the abstract and mechanical tic-toc of a metronome, because each is specifically "geared" to the individual golfer and that golfer alone in moving on earth.

If you have something additional in mind along these same principles, let's hear it, by all means.

Cheers!

Pendulum

1-JUST THOUGHT THAT A PENDULUM WOULD BE EASIER TO USE THAN A SAM OR METRONOME.
2-HOW CAN I PLACE A PICTURE INTO A MESSAGE?

To upload pics ...

.. you will need to be logged in. Then under the "Photobucket.com" link there will be an "Insert Object" button. That will lead you to an interface with a "temporary files" option. Click on that and you will ultimately get a dialog that will allow you to chose files from your computer. You will end up uploading to a photobucket site which will then link to your post.

ps. Thought I'd try it with a "don't do this at home" picture - it works.
