Question: Geoff:

What does it take to become a decent, knowledgeable putter using your scientific method? By that I mean what do you have to do and how long will it take to be fully in control of your putting mechanics and learn to read greens.

What putter should you start with, how should you practice, where should you do your practice, how long and often should you practice, how should you set your practice goals?

Par putting is 36 strokes on an 18 hole golf course. Is that a reasonable target or should it be less?
