Reveal your biomechanic 'secrets'

June 18 2009, 7:05 PM

There are no "secrets" on this fine forum provided for us by Geoff Mangum. In your website you state:

This e-video book will show you the SIMPLE biomechanics you can use to enhance your own, natural athleticism to DRIVE IT 20, 30, or 50 YARDS FARTHER, EVERY TIME!

Please provide us with the 'biomechanics' principles that you are promoting for the improved golfswing you are promoting.

"Biomechanics" is an open science, and if you have anything to provide, please post it on the forum ... otherwise you will be branded a shyster peddling a scam.

I can add 10-20 yards to your driver in 20 min. while at the same time managing ball flight ( draw or fade). I have seen 30 in higher swing speeds. No joke. 50 seems a little out there.

HOW TO ADD 20-50 MORE YARDS TO YOUR DRIVES in 14 MINUTES !!!!

June 18 2009, 10:58 PM

I must share my experience with forum lurkers on how I helped a friend increase his driving distance by 20 yards in 5 MINUTES ... AND THEN AFTER 14 MINUTES HE LOFTED A DRIVE AN ADDITIONAL 50 YARDS .. AND I HAVE IT ON VIDEO ...!!!!!

His final consistent increase was 40 yards and he pipelined them smack dab down the middle of the fairway. If you want to know the secret I will sell it to you for only $9.98. So how many lurking on this fine forum want to know my 'secret'??!!!!

I can increase yardage by raising the balance point of the club. I add either 20 or 30 grams of weight from 4-10 inches down from the butt end of the club. I start at 7" and optimize from there. as I lower the weight I increase club head feel, and slow the club head from getting through the ball ( creating a fade ), as I raise the weight I allow the club head to get through easier, ( creating a draw, and increasing club head speed ). This increase in club head speed equates to longer ball fight. As I optimize the position of the weight to the individual swinging the club I will move this weight up and down until I find a straighter, longer ball flight. This take about 20 min. on the driving range.

Altering driver balance point

June 19 2009, 11:44 AM

Fair enough MKing ... but adding weight to the club shaft increases the inertia of the club, which will not only slow down overall swing speed, it will alter the clubs center of percussion, bringing it closer to the shaft tip and even raise it.

You claim that your adjustable weighting will change club head speed. I trust you have the data to back up that claim. Please provide it on this forum to validate your claims.

You also claim that lowering the weighting will slow down the clubhead for a fade, but won't this also reduce driving distance?

Then you claim that raising the weighting will increase clubhead speed notwithstanding that the driver's moment of inertia has been increased. You say your "increase in club head speed equates to longer ball flight". Please provide data for your claim and your calculations that 'equate' to longer ball flight.

I do dynamic testing on the range and on the course. The launch monitor numbers are with a few other testing areas, so it will take some time to dig those up. As for increasing the over all club MOI, you are some what correct but what we are doing is redistributing the weight taken out of the shaft from the start ( 50g 55g 60g 65g shafts) the lighter the better. The weights that are used are only 1 1/2- 2 1/2 inches long, placed in an area around the hands ( 4-10" down from the butt end ). We have over 60 tour players from around the world that swear by this. ( no names, Email me for a small list) We just had two European wins in the last 5 weeks. I think we're doing something right.
