Geoff, I visited a site you may be familiar with Golds Factory USA where they make some very expensive custom putters, not that I have that kind of dough but I have a question about their design and wonder if you have some insight.
They only make 2 or so for each design which I suppose keeps them unique as a collectors item, have fun folks but I don't think I would ever pay $1300-$1800 for a putter, I would just as well pick up my Acushnet BullsEye from 1975 and have at it.
My question is this, all the designs or most that are on that page at this time are set at 4 degrees open and a loft of 6 degrees. Who needs a putter for $1800 that is 4 degrees open, sure seems like a way to screw up your stroke and make you scratch your head why you are missing them all to the right. Then good luck getting something normal back in your hands, you will probably be messed up for life. Someone please tell me what is the design factor behind these things. I should ask the owner but didn't bother.
