I have been trying many things to improve and recently tried several of the newer balls: Strata Tour Ultimate, Pro V1 and Revolution solid. For all of these, I left putts short that I previously did not with my Precept MC Spins and Titleist HP Tours. I recently switched to an insert putter which I have taken to right away, but in my last two rounds with soft cover balls, my lag putting, or better said distance control,has been quite poor. Anyone been through this and did you settle on a ball that performed better on the short game than others?
