Well, for starters a man will never ask for directions from his wife if he knows that he is driving in the wrong direction. It is too damaging to the male ego so he will simply pretend to stop and refuel and then ask another guy for directions but the good things is that he is wired to sense the north from where he is so from there he can work out where he is a find a way out if he is lost. For us women, we find our way around using landmarks, it is easier that way.
That is what I have observed, what do you have? |

My weakness is shoes, handbags and perfumes. I saw this program on today/tonight on Channel 7 yesterday evening. One of the things talked about was AFFLUENZA. It said something about Fashion being about celebrities but not anymore. Anyone can afford it but they will have to sacrifice the everyday necessities to get that. Sounds familiar?

I'm a mother of 2 & my weakness was buying clothes for my children. Being a loyal fan & viewer of the Oprah Winfrey show, I got a tip from her website on how to make $5000 in a year by saving $100/wk from your family income. Well, so far, money usually spent on children's clothes is gradually reaching a couple of grans which is being put aside for family emergency purposes. Every week when I update my excel spreadsheet (yes, I have one!), I feel so good.... |

Good on you. At least you have some control there. Buying clothes for kids is definitely a weakness. My youngest daughter is nearly 18 months and believe it or not. Some of the clothes I bought for her, she hasn't worn and the craziest thing I did was packed them up and store them away. I get my hands on anything I like wherever I go but the only way to control myself is not to go to the shops unecessarily, period.
