Best Decade

Whats your best decade for film ? personally i go with 90s with films like goodfellas pulp fiction American beauty saving private Ryan , pixar came out with toy story Schindler's List,

what do you guys think?

Very close between the 70's and 90's.

i dk if i would say hands down when i thought about this i immediately thought of the 70s and 90s the 80s never crossed my mind

Probably the 70's. I really like the 90's, though. I remember William Goldman saying the 90's were a shitty time for movies, something I highly disagree with. Loved the 90's.

It's gotta be the 70s.... The Godfather and Godfather Part II, Annie Hall, Network, Star Wars, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The French Connection, The Deer Hunter.... I could go on and on...

Same can be said for the 90's as well. Both of them were just tremendous.

without a question, i would have to say the 1950's. i'm surprised no one said that already; i mean, c'mon, Hitchcock was making great films and it was the birth of French New Wave, as well as, in my opinion, the climatic point for all cinema outside of the US.

after the 50's, i would have to go with the 1940's, then the 1960's.
