Bon" and "Phil0" (Philossifur), is back again with a new set of google searchable blogs. His current take on twistedness and deception is to confuse Cryonics with Christianity. There are a lot of Cryonicists who are also Christians or adherents to other religions, and there is nothing wrong with that.
We just wanted to explain that it is not necessary to be a Christian, or otherwise religious, to also be a Cryonicist.
Many good Atheists and Agnostics are also Cryonicists.
The issue of religion has almost nothing to do with Cryonics anyway. Cryonics is a potential life-saving treatment which will one day be further advanced and a part of future medicine. It will be just as much that as organ transplants are today.
Sadly, there are a few religious people who take an even worse view of things than "Bon Homme Phil0" does. These shortsighted folks think God frowns on attempts to extend life, like cryonics. This same type of mindset was also around when organ transplants were new, when blood transfusions were new, when antibiotics were new. Now few question the value of those. Cryonics will also gain more popular acceptance when it is shown to be effective in saving patients for later resuscitation.
