Would love to have a recommendation for a good butcher shop in the Wayne area. Do such shops still exist? (oops, my age is showing!) Thanks! Diane

I asked someone who has lived in Wayne for 15 years and she said there used to be a butcher right on Lancaster Ave but, alas, no more. Have you considered Whole Foods?

We've used the butchers in the Farmer's Market on Lancaster Ave.

My wife and I just moved from NYC and miss going to our butcher - especially when we needed pork neck for making sauce.

Anyway, the most reasonable in Wayne area we found is at the Devon Acme. Otherwise, the farmer's market has two butchers. Still hard to find good skirt steak (only whole foods has it).
