i'm at a place where time stands still
and i wonder if i always will
lack the ability to just move on
so much of what used to be is alomst completely gone
but i won't say things will never change
theres always a chance that i will break away
from all of the waiting
from all of the stillness
from all the anticipating
from all of the weakness
its all about the number five
thats the only reason i am still alive
so many difficult things have passed
and i know that all this won't last
so i won't say things will never change
i'll probably find the strength to break away
from all of the down time
from all of the wasted days
from all of the unheard cries
from all of the craze
its easy to say anything at all
but how often words just seem to fall
so i guess its time to just stand up and fight
and be all that sleeps inside
who said it will never change?
as far as i'm concerned i've already broken away
from all of the used to be
from all of the regret
from all of the worst of me
from all of the not yet
