I want to know all your nooks and crannies


I hate to picture you, my you
The older, wiser this-years-model you
The you I know and love
Anywhere else but here...


So when you start filling in those
Blank pages for me
It bursts my brain
Why were you anywhere else but here...

Excellent piece of writing. Great imagery to show how you once felt you knew someone only to find that there is more to the story.
That is what I got out of it at least. excellent

your imager in this was ubelievable

my breath was taken away by the first stanza
and the lines of an "older wiser you" that you know
I know one of those "yous" as well,
and man... this hurt to read
but in that good way
