This was just too funny dude, I am still LMAO about this everytime I check in on the forum for any new INFO or posts here... I did decide to pass on the small lathe again, I know it will never get even close to doing for me what I will expect from it anyway...
Maybe in the new year of '07 I can get such but right now I just bought a new car hauler trailer that set me back a little over 4K and I am still setting it up for the task it has to do on a daily issue also. This was all of a sudden sprung on me Thursday and was something out of my control except for the writing of the check for the damn thing LOL...
So not even going to have the time to mess with a lathe for a while anyway:) I do hope you and yours have the best of the holidays and all you other gearheads out there also...
