Gentlemen! The long awaited drawings of the prototype replacement Condor valves are done. The first appear in the link below. To view click the link and view the "valve" folder that contains several PDF files.
PLEASE NOTE: The title and copyright to the valve design is that of Lasse Lundberg. He alone reserves the rights to the design and it may NOT be copied for commercial gain or reward without his express permission. Now thats clear, lets get to the valves!!!
The valve design seeks to simplify and make effecient the brute force approach of the standard valve. It fits in the standard valve body for all US sourced Condors and Talons. It needs almost no spring return and as such allows lighter hammers and an enhanced lock time. This valve places far less stress on the trigger parts and fireing train than the original. It is simple to manufacture, safe and easy to install. Given suitably heavy pellets and a matching barrel this will achieve 90ft/lb in .22 alone.
The big bore valve designed principly with 308/45 in mind and can make 400ft/lb will follow as a seperate set of drawings shortly.
I will leave it to Lasse to explain all he did and suffice it to say that this is excellent, true design and development work.
Good work Lasse!!!
