pellet selection

Pellet selection and accuracy are very barrel specific. The 48 is not known to be pellet fussy so do try a variety of ammo and do bear in mind that there are different head sizes available in .22. The Beeman Kodiak are hard hitters and have an excellent reputation for accuarcy. If your feeling wealthy then try the Preadtor ballistic tip pellets/ These do work well at short range and can be accurate if they like the gun.

There is plenty of choice and your gun is certainly capable of very good accuracy at the distances mentioned.
