For those of you with the newer Theoben Rapid's, that have the anti tamper plate fitted to the rear of the receiver, there is a solution. To remove the cap that is over the power adjustment screw beneath means drilling through and then inserting an allen key to force the cap head screw loose. It is threadlocked in place, however DO NOT use heat as this will melt the delrin spring guide seated underneath!
Now that you have the screw loose and can service and adjust the action, you will need a nice new replacement for the anti tamper screw. It is deliberately made from a size/pitch of thread that cannot be found over the counter.
We have a run of CNC replacement parts made to the correct length/pitch /thread. Please email me direct if interested??
