      I had a successful turkey hunt on a friends farm this weekend. He has been calling me for a while asking me to get rid of some turkeys(5) that have made his farm home. I set up right before dawn 35 yards from where they were roosting. As the sun rose & they started coming down this one presented me with a clean shot. It was the only one I was able to get a clean shot on that morning. I'll return next weekend & try for another. I used a 24 grn XP @ around 925 FPS. The turkey had no chance as the XP & my well placed shot took care of business with one shot.
