Hello everyone ...

Just feeling a bit down as I think that we have no means (i.e. $$) to do another IVF cycle. The last one was in Oct-07 and I had 3 abnormal embryos. However, it was an emergency ER (LH surge) and DH's sample was the worse that it has ever been, zero motility until they looked under the ICSI scope and found a few sperm suitable for fertilization. Basically, a total disaster. Dr. Check said next time he would use antagon (which I BEGGED for at the time) but I don't think that there is going to be a next time.

On my way to work this am I thought, what about a coouple of IUI's ???? I can do those locally, however;

1. DH usually has a low poor sperm count and motility. Uusually it's around 10-25% motility and 3 million count (ignoring the last IVF sample).
2. ALL of my eggs/embryos were abnornal at the last IVF.
3. I have never got pg from an IUI (did 5 when I was 37-38).

I wonder, can you freeze sperm samples and then inseminate them all to boost the chances ?

Am I clutching at straws here ?

The fun way is SO unlikely to result in a child

Thanks for your honest thoughts on this.
