Response to Why do they say you won't "O"? |
| they cannot say there's not a follie there, but going on the Estrogen result, they said there wasn't one in the offing so they didn't need to do a scan. In fact, a few days after the appointment, I've got some CM. I'm with you - I don't know why I'm not ovulating regularly (I'm 40), particularly as I was having fairly regular cycles last year. Dr Gluck felt it wasn't surprising given that I had some heavyweight work stress at the beginning of the year (so much so that I was having nightmares - one night I got out of bed and was hammering the window in my sleep and screaming so hard I was hoarse the next day) and that I needed hormonal support, particularly progesterone, to support my cycles. She felt it was important to have hormonal support even if going for DE because the maintaining of cycling keeps the uterus supple. At the moment, I just want to feel better - when I feel strong and physically well I feel v. positive about going forward to try and start our family with DE or whatever way we can do it and when I feel tired/low, I just think there's no point in trying to become pg because how the hell would I cope with it? Given that I can go from feeling quite well to "crashing" in the space of an afternoon, I'm really hoping this Armour works, even if only by a placebo effect!
Being "stalled out" is a very good way of putting it - hope we can both get going again soon. Mx |
