I'm raising my hand to affirm the fact that when my adrenals crashed, my FSH went through the roof in a matter of one month(it had been under 10 up to then & sometimes as low as 5). Once I was on replacement steroids, they went back to normal.

So I believe it definately can be one cause. And I also believe that those of us dealing with the stress of IF treatment are at even more risk. My adrenals were burnt out for years, and I didn't know what was wrong.
