Mostly..yes. I do know younger SIRM-NY patients that Dr. T has given Menopur to...mostly late 30's. I don't know if Sher does it at all. In fact...he would probably never do an EPP where there was estrogen priming in the luteal phase but Dr. T sometimes does as he is doing here with BD. The SIRM Dr.'s often disagree,...so that is why I say..yes..and no. Basically, they believe that exposure to LH too early can lead to excessive exposure of follicles to androgens which they believe are bad for egg quality. Dr. T adds LH later in my protocol in the form of Luveris. I take Gonal-F, Cetrotide from CD1 and then he adds in Luveris towards the end of the stim cycle.
