So I agree with Jamie, for most poor responders it really doesn't matter. Actually my E2 on low stims was a little higher, I think because egg quality was better. So, unless you are going to go no stim, the amount of stims doesn't really mattter (although we don't know what stims do directly outside of the estrogen affect).
The argument for low stims for me was:
2, similar number of embryos, despite more follicles for high stim
3, better embryos
Definitely we should be aware of the risks of changing hormone levels artificially though.
